Zeiss Ikon Onito
The Onito was an entry level folding plate camera in the Contessa-Nettel catalog when they merged to
become Zeiss Ikon. The Onito was carried in the Zeiss catalog in 1926 and 1927 in two sizes, the 126/3
for 6.5 x 9cm, and the 126/7 for 9 x 12cm. These were leather covered wooden body cameras, with
single extension bellows. Found with lesser lenses and shutters, often Novar lenses in either Ibsor or
Compur shutters.

This is a Contessa Nettel marked example of the Onito.
